Did you know that there is a chance you may be sabotaging your own dating success?

Both men and women can be engaging in behaviours that compromise their chances of achieving dating success.

We know that entering the dating world can be daunting, especially for people who have been out of the dating game for sometime now. If it’s been a while since you’ve been dating then you will probably experience more nerves and anxiety than someone who has been regularly dating.

There are some things you could be doing that are costing your chances of getting more dates.

  1. Trying too hard – In particular, this is one that is experienced by people who haven’t been dating for a while. They will feel more nerves and anxiety and they can end up trying too hard. What we mean by this is bragging, trying to impress your date. While you may think you are actually elevating yourself in your eyes, you actually aren’t at all because your date will just think you’re being desperate.

  2. Not connecting – Many people struggle with the communication aspect but it really shouldn’t be all that hard. You can avoid silent, awkward moments during dates almost completely if you know how to connect with someone properly. All you need to do is get them talking about things they are passionate about, have an interest in, and talk with them about it. It is very simple and if you can get them opening up and chatting then you’ll start to form connections.

Above are a couple of the most common, serious dating flaws. Good news is that they can all be avoided. Simply follow the tips outlined and you can forget about ever sabotaging your dating success again.
