First dates.
They are something that can cause a lot of anxiety and nerves for anyone who is about to go on one with someone they find attractive. However, that is a good thing. If you are not feeling some kind of nerves about meeting a potential future partner for your first date then it’s probably not a good sign.
You should feel those nerves mixed with a tinge of excitement. After all, first dates are great. They are a time to meet someone and get to know them and that is the whole point with any first date.
You may have wondered what the point of a first date is and it’s pretty simple. The whole point with a first date is to find out if you have a great connection with that person. The whole point is to see if there is a connection and any chemistry between the two of you because only from there can things really progress.
If there is no connection or chemistry on the first date then it probably means that there won’t be in the future either. This should really be the basis for whether or not you continue to see someone. So you can go out on a first date with someone, if you have that connection and chemistry with them then you can go out on another date and see how things go from there.
But the purpose of any first date should always be to see if you are well matched with that person. It’s only once a connection and chemistry has been established can anything potentially develop in the future.
