The modern world of dating has changed. It’s no longer simply a case of meeting a new partner through mutual friends, work acquaintances, perhaps family friends. In today’s modern world of dating there is now a greater emphasis on meeting people via alternative dating methods.
One of those is personal introductions and matchmaking. When you are meeting someone via personal introductions and matchmaking you are not going to meet your new partners friends straight away. Using the older methods of dating there were many cases where you already had mutual friends with your partner so it was no big deal.
However with a method like personal introductions you are not going to meet your partner’s friends straight away. This is something that comes gradually and you don’t want to rush this decision.
So how do you introduce your new partner to your friends?
Well, as has already been stated, it’s important to not rush into this decision. Remember, both you are your partner will be being introduced to two new groups of people so it’s important you give this decision some time so you know you are both right for each other first.
However, meeting the friends is an important part in relationship growth so it needs to happen at some point. The best way to do this is to start off by gradually introducing them rather than throwing your partner in the deep end with some massive group party for instance.
Maybe organise a night of drinks where a couple of your closest friends will be and then introduce your partner to them. Keep the environment and atmosphere relaxed as well because they will probably be nervous.
So keep the introductions to small groups of your close friends in a casual environment to start with and then take things gradually from there. This is the safest way you can introduce your new partner to your friends.
